Q4 2023 Wellness App Trends on iOS in Europe: A Sensor Tower Report

Sensor Tower's comprehensive data for the fourth quarter of 2023 highlights the performance of the top wellness applications on iOS in Europe. Here's a look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Me+ Daily Routine Planner showed a fluctuating trend in downloads, peaking at nearly 96K in early November before dipping to around 51K by the year's end. The app's revenue trended downwards from around $46K to $27K, while its active users saw a high of approximately 252K in early November, eventually settling at about 224K.

ShutEye®: Sleep Tracker, Sound experienced a significant increase in revenue, climbing from nearly $40K to over $81K by the last week of December. Downloads for ShutEye® surged to an impressive 139K in the final week of the quarter, and its weekly active users almost quadrupled, reaching over 142K.

I Am Sober maintained a steady revenue stream, starting at around $16K and slightly increasing to $17K by the end of December. This app's downloads hovered around the 30K mark, with a slight uptick to 33K in the final week. Weekly active users remained stable, with a slight increase from 407K to 426K over the quarter.

BetterSleep: Relax and Sleep saw its revenue fluctuate, with a high of nearly $30K in late October, and ended the quarter at around $25K. Downloads showed an upward trend, starting at 24K and reaching 38K by December's end. The app's active users increased significantly from 98K to over 144K during the quarter.

Finally, Sleep Cycle - Sleep Tracker generated the most revenue among the wellness apps, starting the quarter at just under $99K and ending at $96K. Downloads for Sleep Cycle showed a decline from 25K to 31K, while the number of active users saw a decrease from 701K to 613K.
